Finally getting to express myself

I've been looking for ways to get my photography out to the rest of the world for a while now.  I'm not really a "stock" photographer and a lot of my work suits my own personal taste rather than the masses.  Through this blog I intend to showcase my photographic art and to pass along some tips and tricks of the trade.  I started out like many of you reading this post, just a person with a nice camera and a need to take better pictures than the average photographer.  For those of you that don't know me, I am a perfectionist.  I can find fault in even my best work.  In some ways, this makes me a better photographer, in others, it inhibits my expression of that work.  Another feature of this blog that I am looking forward to is the feedback that I hope to receive from my followers...good, bad, and ugly.  Your opinions are welcome here.  Without further ado, here is my first photo for your viewing enjoyment.  You will recognize it from the title area.  It is one of my favorites due to all the colors.
